License/Subscription Cost

- On-Premise:

  • License fee includes an upfront fee to own the software plus IP for a fixed term
  • Cost will vary based on the number of users getting access to the system
  • Minimum 20 user-based licenses are required to be purchased
  • Software License Update and Support are over and above the license fees

- Term-based licensing model is also available for Oracle Warehouse Management’s On-Premise model

  • Price of the Term license is based on a specific percentage of the perpetual license price
  • Annual term licenses are available from 1 to 5 years: 1 year – 20% of list, 2 years – 35% of list, 3 years – 50% of list, 4 years – 60% of list and 5 years – 70% of list
  • Support price for term license is 22% of list perpetual license fee
  • Term license percentages are not applied to the list support price

- Cloud-based/SaaS:

  • Subscription-based pricing model – per month
  • Cost is based on the number of warehouse transactions processed through the Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud Service
Maintenance Cost

- On-Premise:

  • Support and upgrades are over and above the license cost
  • Software Updates Licenses & Support are provided to customers with right to product upgrades plus 24X7 technical support
  • The support is available for 5 years from the release date of the product
  • Product Upgrades includes upgraded versions of the software, maintenance releases, and patches
  • Web-based support is provided via Oracle MetaLink. The features of MetaLink include proactive notifications, customized home pages, technical libraries and forums, product life-cycle information, a bug database and the ability to log technical assistance requests

- OSS (Oracle Support Services) offers Advanced Customer Support to meet customers' specific business requirements. The cost is over and above the license cost and subscription cost

- OSS offers sustaining support which is offered in Year 9 and provides. It provides technical support – access to Oracle online and call-center support plus rights to future products for as long as the customer is purchasing support

  • Sustaining support is charged as per renewal pricing
  • Sustaining Support provides technical support, access to Metalink/Customer Connection, major products and technology releases plus pre-existing fixes

- Oracle offers Incident Server Support Packages to provide incident web-based support for limited product sets such as Oracle Database Server Support Packages, Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Oracle Application Server Support Packages

- Cloud-based/SaaS: Cost is included in the subscription cost

Installation/Implementation Cost
  • For both types of deployments, cost is over and above the upfront cost/subscription cost
  • OSS helps customers to receive direct access Oracle experts for product-specific questions about installing and operating Oracle software
Customization Cost For both types of deployments, cost will vary based on the functional requirements being added as an add-on or modules being added, based on organization requirements
Data Migration Cost/Change Management/Upfront Switching Cost For both types of deployments, cost will vary depending on the current software, amount of data to be migrated, availability of migration tools, complexity of data and gaps between the existing system and the new system
Training Cost
  • For both types of deployments, cost is over and above the license fee/subscription cost
  • Cost will vary depending on the types of training format opted for by users such as Training on Demand, Classroom Training or Live Virtual Training
Recurring/Renewal Costs

- On-Premise:

  • Recurring cost is equivalent to the additional licenses purchased based on organization requirements
  • OSS offers Extended Support to customers with current Software Updates, Licenses and Support for products which can be extended for a further 3 years, past the initial 5 years from the general availability date of the product

- Extended Support offers updates, fixes, security alerts, upgrade scripts, technical support, tax, legal and regulatory updates

  • Extended Support fees consist of the prior year's fee for Software Updates & Support plus the applicable renewal adjustment, plus an additional fee based on the year. Additional fees are as follows:

- Year 6 after product release: 10% of current year's Software Update License & Support

- Year 7 after product release: 20% of current year's Software Update License & Support

- Year 8 after product release: 20% of current year's Software Update License & Support

- Cloud-based/SaaS: Cost is equivalent to the subscription fee paid monthly based on the number of warehouse transactions, implementation cost, customization cost and premium support services along with training support services opted for
